Novae the cat
Oceans: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Catamaran Novae. Its four-year mission: to explore scarcely inhabited islands, to seek out forgotten customs and civilizations, to boldly go where few men have gone before, leaving behind only footprints and a "Clean Wake".

Preveza to Lefkada
LEFKADA - 038 50.45N, 020 43E
The crossing from Preveza to
Lefkada is about 7.5NM and about 180˚.
There is a revolving bridge that swings every
hour to allow boats through the narrow channel.
The Main halyard had a few twists and could not be lowered to
attach the sail, so I had to go up the mast to free it.
While there I enjoyed a magnificent view of the harbor
while Norman was keeping an eye on me...
A 3miles narrow canal allows sailors to avoid circumnavigating the island of Lefkada and having to navigate in the open Ionian sea,

Novae just before taking a splash after 10 months on the hard stand.
The dust was just everywhere, We cleaned for hours and only managed to get rid of the dirt on the roof and deck!

Where it all started
Novae at the service jetty in La Rochelle.
With over 5,000 masts all around, La Rochelle is the largest cruising harbour on the Atlantic coast of France.
A great sunset at La Rochelle marina
The entrance to the Medieval Port, one of the most picturesque on the coast.
In addition there are several new ports and marinas.
The old port at low tide.
Catamaran galore!!!
With so many catamaran manufacturers concentrated in this area, this has to be the Mecca of catamaran lovers.
